Durante a New York Toy Fair 2020, foram anunciados os vencedores dos prémios "Toy of the Year (TOTY) e a LEGO arrecadou 3 prémios, nomeadamente "Construction Toy of the Year", para o set 60228- Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control , "Speciality Toy of the Year", para o 75810 - The Upside Down e "STEM/STEAM Toy of the Year", para o 75253 - Droid Commander.
Relativamente ao ano passado, em que a LEGO ganhou 4 prémios, manteve o "Construction Toy of the Year" e o "Speciality Toy of the Year", ganhou o "STEM/STEAM Toy of the Year", mas perdeu os prémios "Collectible Toy of the Year"e "Playset of the Year" para dois produtos da L.O.L. e Playmobil, respectivamente.
