Pode não ser tão imponente como a construção patente no LEGOLAND Park em Billund, mas este moc em micro-escala do AFOL Rocco Buttliere, representando o famoso Mount Rushmore está absolutamente fenomenal e cheio de pormenores fantásticos, como por exemplo os capacetes de minifigs invertidos usados como olhos. Fica aqui uma breve descrição do autor:

"The carving of Thomas Jefferson’s likeness into Mount Rushmore proved to be much more trialsome than Borglum had foreseen. Originally intended to be carved to Washington’s right, Jefferson had to be restarted on the left after the first attempt was abandoned, owing to inconsistencies in the granite. The second and final attempt was not, however, without its challenges. While the romantic view of the monument is that Jefferson’s upward-tilted face is because Borglum saw the third president as a visionary, the reality was that there was a crack in the granite which ran through the would-be nose. As a result, Jefferson’s head was tilted further and further back until the crack no longer passed through the nose. This slight upward angle of roughly ten degrees is represented in the model; a detail into which I incorporated much of the surrounding rockwork in an effort to more visually punctuate Jefferson’s upward gaze.

My effort in stylizing the finished carvings, represented in white through the use of chamfered wedges and curved slopes, helps to distinguish their finished quality from the other blasted, but unfinished areas of rock, represented in much harsher angles and parts usage in light gray. Internally, each of the faces are built upon 4x4 turntables and are wedged securely into place between the surrounding rockwork. After designing the faces, I essentially positioned each one in their accurate locations and at the proper angles. From there, I began to fill in the rock, working around the floating heads, while ensuring all of it connected back to the underlying stud grid, despite the numerous irregular offsets and angles of the faces."
